Loch Lomond, Stirling & The Kelpies
Overview
Everyone knows Loch Lomond... let’s go and see it.
Then we will go to Stirling and on to The Kelpies for a great day out.
1st Stop Loch Lomond
Our featured attraction: a Cruise on Loch Lomond. The 1hr 'Experience' cruise with a sailing time of 11.15am is the only one suitable to fit our schedule.
If a cruise is not to your liking, we will take you to Luss, hailed as the most beautiful village in Scotland. Luss is nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond, this conservation village features incredible views of the loch, quaint historic cottages with colourful gardens, and a ‘hogback Viking gravestone’ - a rare type of Viking gravestone only found on the British Isles.
Itinerary
2nd Stop Stirling or Stirling Castle
Heading to the historical city of Stirling, you will have the option to explore this historical city bustling with independent shops, restaurants and cafes.
An alternative is to opt to visit either Stirling castle or the Wallace Monument. Both have an admission charge that is not included in the tour and pre-booking is essential for a midday tour 90 min stop.
3rd Stop - The Kelpies
It really is worth going out of your way to see these iconic pieces of art.
The Kelpies are magnificent 30-meter-high horse-head sculptures located in Falkirk. They're among Scotland's most impressive modern landmarks and have become iconic since their unveiling in 2013.
The Kelpies have quickly become one of Scotland's most photographed attractions and a symbol of modern Scottish culture and engineering excellence.
